I check my e-mail on a daily basis - sometimes hourly. Since I don't carry a mobile phone with me, it's by far the most reliable way of reaching me, regardless where I am. I do have more e-mail addresses than just this one - but gmail offers a fairly solid spam protection as opposed to my other addresses, and so it's the only e-mail address I'm publishing on the internet (if I can help it).

I used to have other means of contact, but unfortunately, for both technical and time reasons, they gradually died out.
