I acquired a Wacom Intuos 3 A5 on the 30th June 2007, and it's brought me much delight. I'm still dabbling, but the possibilities seem endless - I'm sure this will grow to be the most populated part of my drawings portfolio. I'm certainly quite excited, and it takes an effort to put the pen down and stop drawing...
The Lizard King is the alter ego of Mordant de Rhys. I enjoyed the mental image of a Lizard King so much that I asked to draw it, despite us not getting along very well - this picture's the result.
This is a commission freebie for a character in Crimson Feather - I like how it came out, so here it is.
Gaia's Vengeance were a radicalist environmentalist / otherkin group in Crimson Feather's second incarnation. Of course, they were still human, but if they had ever imagined to pose as a team, this would be how they'd see themselves. (The angel is a tolerated non-otherkin, depicted here by her avatar.)
The first serious drawing I've done with the tablet - and, so far, quite possibly the best. I lost myself in shading and am quite happy with the result in that regard. Computer power and an artist's hand are truly a nice mixture...
This is a picture drawn for Leandine, one of the players in Crimson Feather, in response to her drawing me the most adorable picture of Frederick Pasquan. There are unfortunately a lot of things wrong with this picture on side of the anthropomorph wolf - but I'm very happy with the depiction of the human being.
This is a rough sketch of Elizabeth Zinn's online avatar.
My first attempt at setting pressure sensitivity to 'size' in GIMP, trying to capture the ink brushwork feel of the Okami game. The sun you see is a restored version of the Okami cover 'logo', text removed. All in all, hardly my best work, but something new and interesting, so I thought I'd put it up.
